A 15-year-old built an app that fixes potholes

A 15-year-old in New Delhi named Parth has built an AI-powered app that lets citizens photograph potholes, grade their severity, and fire off a report to the right authorities without hunting for a single email address. He calls it Project Sadak. The idea came after his parents crashed their motorcycle on a pothole one night, riding home from a family occasion in nearby Agra. "The platform was built by me from scratch," he told The Better India. "Initially, yes, I started writing code, but as the complexity began to rise, I had to make use of AI." The app checks that a photo shows an actual pothole, then drafts and sends the email for the user. So far 360 potholes have been reported and 11 repaired. Parth fixed nearly all of them himself, using contractors from his father's construction business. He would rather the government did it. He is not holding his breath.
