A stray cat carried her kitten into a human hospital for help

A stray orange tabby carried her kitten through the doors of a human hospital in Izmir, Turkey, and went looking for someone to help. Staff had been leaving food and water outside for her, unaware she had recently given birth. That morning she meowed at the entrance for a long time, then fetched one of her babies in her mouth and trotted down the hallways as personnel cleared a path. "She asked for help, meowing for a long time. We were shocked," one hospital worker told local media. The examination found the kittens could not open their eyes due to an infection. Staff consulted a veterinary clinic and administered the medicine as directed. "When the kittens opened their eyes a short time later, we were thrilled," the worker said. The mother and her litter were later sent to Uzundere for further care. She picked the wrong species of hospital and the right people.
