Chris Evans asked for their forever home. Someone answered.
Two dogs, one condition. They had to leave together.
Greg and Carley, a short-haired chihuahua and a shaggy golden retriever, have been adopted together after Chris Evans featured the pair in a video for The Dodo. The two lived at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, which noticed the dogs could not bear to be parted and listed them as a bonded pair. Evans highlighted them through a series called Dream Date, which gets Hollywood actors to share treats and stories with shelter dogs. He played games mostly with Carley. Greg was not so interested. "They're a bonded pair, which means they have to be adopted together," Evans said, "a couple of sweethearts, and I hope someone out there gives them their forever home." The series has run more than 200 entries and has a strong record of getting dogs homes. Greg and Carley now live with a couple who started an Instagram account for them, @lifewithgregandcallie.
