Nobody stopped, until Olfa Ferchichi did on her drive home from work. "He was so small, exhausted, and desperately thirsty," she wrote. She pulled over, picked him up, and brought him to the house she rents for her rescued animals. She named him Bella, then realized he was a boy and adjusted to Bello. He found a best friend on day one: Sarah, another of her rescues, just over a year old. Bello adores her so completely that Ferchichi suspects he thinks she is his mother. He also loves the cats, which is a generous position for a dog to take. He needs vaccinations still, and a family. Ferchichi hopes to place him in France through a rescue that has helped her before.
