Two goats politely waited in line to board the bus
They waited behind the line. The driver still said no.
Two goats attempted to board a city bus in Portland, Oregon, last week, following a group of human passengers up the steps as if this were a normal Tuesday commute. Surveillance footage from the bus station captured the pair, both small and white, waiting politely behind the line before stepping on. The driver had other plans. The goats were escorted back off almost as quickly as they arrived, and they did not appear especially wounded by the rejection. Video of the incident spread online, where commenters supplied the jokes so the goats did not have to. "Hey, they stayed well behind the line and politely let the humans board first. Give them a ride," one wrote. Another pointed out the detail that lingers longest. The car stopped behind the bus, they noted, simply saw two goats getting off at a regular stop, and drove on with a story to tell.
