honeyletter is a daily good news email. Five verified stories arrive every weekday morning at 7am Eastern. It takes about three minutes to read. There is no doom in it, ever.

Who makes it

One person. Patrick Mortimer reads the news so you do not have to, and he reads a great deal of it. Every story in the letter was chosen, checked, and edited by him. There is no content farm behind the curtain, and no algorithm deciding what you feel this morning.

How stories are chosen

Every story is verified against its original sources before it ships. The bar is simple and it is strict: a story earns its place when a person reading it says, wow, that was nice. Genuinely moving beats clever. If a story needs a warning label, it does not go in the letter.
