Honorata Jamrozik won 1 million British pounds in the UK Omaze Monthly Millionaire Draw, and her first move was to hand her next-door neighbors 5,000 pounds for their first family holiday abroad. The 48-year-old from Dartford, Kent, has lived beside them for 14 years. "Good neighbors are one of life's true blessings," she said. "They feel like family to us." The tax-free prize landed two weeks after she buried her father in Poland, and she is convinced he had a hand in it. "He'll always be the angel sitting on my shoulder," she said. Jamrozik, who fostered children for seven years before stepping back to care for her elderly parents, says the money means she can return to the work she loves.
